Hey! I'm Lindsay, and I love to travel, and the object of this website is to enlighten
people about the joys and wonders of travelling in British Columbia.
When I was younger, a lot of my friends beat me to the world travel thing.
I remember
being really jealous when they were jetting off to Hawaii or Europe, and one day I asked
my mom if we could go on a trip, and obviously I didn't know it wasn't that easy to just
go, and my parents said no. We couldn't afford something like that. But I remember my mother
saying, 'You've seen more of British Columbia than most kids'. At the time I thought that
was really lame. However, over the years I have been able to travel internationally, in
South America and Europe, and now I have a much greater appreciation for my home province.
My mom was right, there is a lot to see in British Columbia, and I feel like it should be a
rite of passage to explore your home region before you go out to see the world. In actuality,
some of my favourite places are here in BC rather than more exotic locations. I'm really proud
to be from this province, because it really is one of the best places on earth!
