Scorpius

Scorpius (played by Wayne Pygram), also known as Scorpy to Crichton, is the main villain in Farscape. He is a half-Scarran (giant murderous lizard-men who love the heat), half-Sebacean. Because of his Sebacean blood, Scorpius is vulnerable to Heat Delirium, and to counteract the heat he produces by being half-Scarran, he is forced to wear a cooling suit powered by a coolant rod located in his brain. He must change coolant rods every few hours, and even less if he has been physically exerting himself or has become angry. Scorpius is obsessed with discovering the secrets of wormhole technology, and he pursues Crichton throughout the universe, to the exclusion of all else. Scorpius cares for nothing and nobody except himself and the weaponry wormholes can create. Otherwise, Scorpius is remarkable brilliant, incredibly duplicitous, extremely well connected, and has almost infinite resources. Though Scorpius ostensibly works for the Peacekeepers, there is no way to tell where he has loyalties. The only certainty is that he is loyal to himself above all.
