Ka D'Argo

General Ka D'Argo (played by Anthony Simcoe) was imprisoned on Moya for the crime of killing a superior officer (that's not the real reason, but that'd be ruining things), and he was instrumental in freeing Moya from Peacekeeper control. D'Argo is a Luxan, a race of warriors that lead the universe in Weapon and Defense Technology, and have evolved several useful combat traits, such as the ability to survive grievous bodily harm so long as they continue to be hurt. Luxans also possess an extremely long tongue that he can use to lash enemies, injecting them with a venom that keys to the target's DNA and knocks them unconscious. D'Argo, like all Luxans, suffers from an extremely short temper, though he can exert a measure of control over it, but he is subject to Hyper-Rage, a Luxan berserker rage in which he blacks out and attempts to destroy the focus of his anger. D'Argo wields his great-grandfather's Qualta blade, an incredibly sharp and durable broadsword that can be converted into a powerful pulse rifle. D'Argo, despite being a hardened warrior, is nonetheless a very caring person who is willing to lend an ear or shoulder for a friend. Though he and John are often at odds with one another, and sometimes come close to blows, they are best friends and there is no person D'Argo trusts more with his life than Crichton, except perhaps Aeryn.
