The Medievil Restaurant Concept

As any good Christian, King Arthur never leaves a feast until the guests have desapeared. As expected of a generous host, he greets new arrivals and always imbibes with them. The same is true of his wax image in its crown and mantle: it greets the guests and shares in their merriment and light mood.
Inside

Story-tellers and minstrels will keep you entertained at a knight's meal, a medieval banquet or at your own festivities (e.g. wedding, birthday or other jubilee celebrations), while you enjoy the stunning view of our decor.

King Arthur restaurant is thought to be the oldest building in town. Diners will marvel at the high-roofed room with heavy black beams above and chandeliers descending. The restaurant, which seats 120, has been totally refurbished and is available for buffets, functions, private parties and weddings, and there are two separate bars so no-one has to wait too long. Our private medieval room seats 50 and features a dance floor.

Medieval cooking was not, as has been so easily assumed, a dubious practice that produced inedible dishes filled with strange spices and dangerous ingredients. Medieval cooks used many of the same type of foodstuffs that are in use today, in addition to forms of food preparation familiar to any of us.
