Engineering Services, 2001 - 2002

I was part of the teams that implemented datawarehousing projects for GE Power Systems. Established best practices and methodologies for the areas of data design, conceptual and logical modeling. Performed a comparative study of all new systems issues including network, design, and operations, and prepared prototype architecture for the new systems. Oversaw the quality procedures using 6-Sigma methodology to reduce total cost of ownership. Responsible for creating data models using Erwin, data extraction and integration using Informatica, BusinessObjects and PL/SQL procedures.

Banking and Insurance Sector, 1999 - 2000

Part of a team that implemented and maintained a leasing/lending system/application called 'PanCredit' (Platform: Unix, Oracle-Forms) for GE Capital Bank, Austria. Responsibile for creating PL/SQL scripts, Informatica mappings, populating data marts thorugh BusinessObjects for business analytics. Executed two different projects for Emirates Bank and Ministry Of Manpower, Singapore. Involved in creating new data mappings and conceptual designs, complex PL/SQL stored procedures to extract and integrate data with the client's existing systems. Another maintenance project involving an insurance application (Platform: Unix, Oracle-Forms, PL/SQL, Pro*C) for Blue Cross Blue Shield, Missouri. Part of the team that debugged, tested and supported the application from offshore (from the Satyam office at Hyderabad, India).
