Oban and the Isle of Mull |
This was my favourite part of our trip. I really wanted to see a scotch distillery. Of course, I would have settled for any distillery. When I found out that we could go to the Oban one, though, I was really excited. See, Oban scotch is my scotch. Scotch drinkers are quite particular about the scotches they drink, so this was a HUGE treat for me. In total, ten of us took the three hour train ride from Glasgow to the coastal town of Oban. Because it was such a long trip, we naturally had to stay overnight, so we stayed in some B&Bs. It was great. On our first day, we stayed in Oban, on the second, we went to the Isle of Mull. |
