In the Cariboo Chilcotin there are many places to visit. Some of which include:

The Ashtray is located just minutes from Williams Lake. This naturally made cutbank is very steep. This area has great hiking/quading trails. Be careful not to fall!

Bella Coola valley is located about four hours west of Williams Lake. This small town is situated beside the ocean. A great place for a little getaway with breath taking views.

The Chilcotin Bridge crosses the Fraser River just ten minutes west of Williams Lake. This valley has beautiful scenery. A must see.

Chimney Lake is located just a half an hour out of Williams Lake. It is a must see because the water is a crystal clear blue. There are many campsites situated around the lake as well.

Likely is one of the most beautiful places to visit in British Columbia. It has many campsites and hidden fishing spots. A great place for one who enjoys the outdoors.

Quesnel Forks is located just minutes out of Likely, BC. It is now a ghost town, but was once a booming city. It was going to become the capital city of British Columbia back in the day.

Scout Island is located in Williams Lake and is a great place to take the dog for a walk or enjoy the lake waters.
