    The ever-popular AK-47 offers an aggressive attack with high damage and a slower rate of fire for more manageable handling. Unpredictable recoil can cause problems in long-distance engagements, but the weapon shines in mid-range, forward moving combat.

Personal Review:

   Used to be a very powerful gun in previous games so it looks like developers toned it down a bit.  The damage is about average compared to other assault rifles.  The AK-47 gets 49 bullet damage which is 1 short of a 2 shot kill(players have 100hp total).  The AK-47 wouldn't be all so bad if it wasn't for the recoil going everywhere the screen making it hard to control.
