Phil & Shay's Adventures in
Japan
Updated: June 1, 2004
These are the rest of the pictures from last weekend. They are of Deziafu shrine. This weekend we forgot the camera at home when we went out to an international party but it was probably for the best considering the condition we were in when we got home that night, we probably would have broken it.
I still haven't got all of those missing emails, thank you Linda for the ones you did send, but any of mine and any of Shay's between May 3 to May 18 and I'd be thankful.

I just couldn't seem to get a picture that did this pond justice. I'll make sure that when Doug comes to visit he goes to work with his camera and gets a good one of this. |
This was the outer building leading to the courtyard, or whatever it is they might call that area. |

|
There was this really cool garden pond in the courtyard but it was difficult to get in perspective because it was sunk into the ground so if you stepped back you couldn't see it in the picture. |
This is were the action was. It was some sort of baptism like thing going on. |

|
That was the biggest lantern I've seen yet and a shot into the courtyard. |
These things were everywhere in mass quantity and I still have no idea what they are. Or what they say. |

Inside the courtyard they were trying to sell all this stuff. I don't know what most of it was either, good luck charms or something. |
This is where we ate lunch, right beside this beautifull Garden, with a pond and fresh air. Why they put my tempura covered prawns into the soup broth, only to make them completely soggy is beyond me, kinda ticked me off. |
