Phil & Shay's Adventures in

Japan

Updated: May 1, 2004

This update is from a walk we went on just the other day to a temple or shrine(not sure which) a few blocks away.

The emails are up and nicely organized, I warn you that they are not fomatted yet though. I haven't convinced myself to undergo that yet, infact I think I should make Shay do it seeing as they are her e-mails.

The University students tie these little peices of paper with their wishes for success on upcoming exams on these strings.

A Samuria model behind glass, Shay likes how the reflection contrast the old and new with the buildings in the reflections.

After they tied their prayers on the strings they threw some money into the building there and yanked on the bell a couple of times.

There is one Samurai on either side of the little building.

Some neat stuff. The one looks really old.

Still from that same place.

Choices, choices you see the size of that beer? It's a can with a handle.

A building around the corner from our place. Rather interesting looking, but kinda stinky, you should see and smell the smoke it blows out.
