Phil & Shay's Adventures in
Japan
Updated: May 1, 2004
This update is from a walk we went on just the other day to a temple or shrine(not sure which) a few blocks away.
The emails are up and nicely organized, I warn you that they are not fomatted yet though. I haven't convinced myself to undergo that yet, infact I think I should make Shay do it seeing as they are her e-mails.

The University students tie these little peices of paper with their wishes for success on upcoming exams on these strings. |
A Samuria model behind glass, Shay likes how the reflection contrast the old and new with the buildings in the reflections. |
After they tied their prayers on the strings they threw some money into the building there and yanked on the bell a couple of times. |
There is one Samurai on either side of the little building. |
Some neat stuff. The one looks really old. |
Still from that same place. |
Choices, choices you see the size of that beer? It's a can with a handle. |
A building around the corner from our place. Rather interesting looking, but kinda stinky, you should see and smell the smoke it blows out. |
