day in Vancouver! April 27th 2010 marked a day of support for the
Vancouver Canucks after they entered in to the second round of the NHL
playoffs. The Canucks flag was raised as the Mayer
declaired this special day in front of City Hall. Fin (the team's mascot) was also there to
hand out white towles to the fans in attendance to help them cheer on
their team. This 2009-10 Canuck season marked the 23rd time the
Vancouver Canucks have gotten into the playoffs since 1970. This year
the Canucks set a new record the most most wins at home and also
celebrated a 300-in-a-row sell out season. Also, Swedish forward Henrik
Sedin lead the entire NHL in scoring. Even though they didn't make it
to the Stanly Cup finals, one has to admit that this truly was an
amzing year for the Canucks.
