CENTAL BC HERITAGE: A CLUSTER OPPORTUNITY

Submission to Interactive Innovation Art Challenge
Innovation Resource Centre

Visual art and local history have been my passion in life and I have learned how science and technology can turn this knowledge into major culture opportunities in th 21st century. My written work is in UNBC archives, my paintings hang in Two Rivers Gallery, and I am currently a director on Prince George Railway and Forestry museum where I am promoting a Heritage walk. Science and Technology can put these things together to be enjoyed by all, including future citizens and visitors. There is much work that has been done and much to do to take advantage of this vital, priceless resource.

Our heritage is a unique one, it is a commodity waiting to be taken fuller advantage of in creating jobs, and interesting common interest, and tourism. Our history challenges the imagination as few others; it can show has been the land of opportunity and still it.

In this way, I believe my presentation illustrates the current and/or future culture of innovation in Prince George, applying to all walks of life - education, business, government, community, health and welfare. It would generate pride.
