Well! Back online, once again at Spunge! Friend's server didn't quite pan out the way it should/could have, so I'm back here after fixing up my connection problems. Spunge was lagging painfully when I was attempting to upload stuff, and while checking email, both from the web, and via SSH. Evidently having 833 messages stored in my inbox (four years worth of emails, without bothering to clean it out) was putting a strain on the computing power of the system, so I managed to trim it down to 314 messages and it began working significantly faster ;)

We're outta beta now!

Peace,
Edward

So I've done a few little things over the past few days. Just updated the bio a bit and changed around the font size of the site. Updated some other texty bits and played around with a few links around the site, that's about it =) I've updated the site version, it's now v2.10b =b So fine, none of the changes are huge, but visually I think the site is more appealing with the smaller font size, and I also changed a fair bit of links and a few pages =) Not archiving this change either =b I think I'll only archive major version changes (when I get to v3.0 I'll archive the last version of 2.xx). Email me and tell me what you think!

Oh, and why beta you ask? Cause this is being done offline =b

Cheers =)

Ello, finally an update =) The site is now being hosted at gnook.org, my friend's site, and has moved from spunge.org. I've now got a blog which you can read, woo =b.

I changed the colours around a bit, but I hafta work on the formatting, fine tuning the colours, the fonts etc., something I'm not going to do until the summer because I hafta put my time into school. Drop me a line and tell me what ya think, as well as give suggestions and the like =) It definately needs work =b

Until next update =)

Hold onto your pants! It's mook online v2.03! Nifty, yesno? So it's finally back online =) I uploaded all the updated files about two weeks back, but I had to fix my CSS and some code in order for things to start behaving nicely again =) Not keeping up to date with XHTML and CSS for two and a bit years isn't the most helpful thing when it comes to web development and maintenance =) Anyways, the site's working again after some editing, and it looks rather nice. Over the next little bit of time I'll be updating all the bits and pieces of the site. Good times for all =D That's it for now =D

Yes, yet another update! Once again offline too, of course ;) So I was surfing the net a few days ago, and I decided to start reading some stuff online about XHTML and HTML, as a wee bit prior to that I was talking to someone and they said that HTML had become obsolete. I had looked at the XHTML Tutorial at W3 Schools before, but didn't exactly read it. Serves me right =b While I had been writing nearly legit HTML/XHTML, it wasn't exactly completely up to par and I decided that it was high time to update the code of my site. Now the only thing missing in my code (I hope) is the !DOCTYPE tag, as well as a few CSS things I'll fix in the future. My code should be completely legit when I get hooked back up to the net and I can read exactly what has to be done, as well as check my code online with the code checkers at the W3 website =) I'll be able to do this with my laptop that I'll hopefully be ordering soon for university =D Yes, I could check it all on my mom's laptop, and add what needs to be added, but I don't want to have to go through all the trouble =)

I had picked up this simply horrid habit, which I didn't really like anyways, where I would put paragraph tags after a typed paragraph, and wouldn't close it til the end of a blurb. *sighs* so horrible. =b Anyways, I've always written HTML in lowercase, and I always close my tags, nest them properly, etc., but there were a few minor changes that had to be made, namely adding alts to img tags, and closing horizontal rule and break tags with a /. Anyways, I didn't bother archiving v2.02b because this update just has to do with code, not with anything visual =) That and I forgot to copy index.php before editing it, and I'm not about to undo all the changes ;)

Oh, right. I also changed the title of the front page (none of the others, just the front page) to reflect the _true_ status of mook online ;)

I bring you [drum roll] mook offline v2.03b! Enjoy =)

So I just decided to put up a news section for the site =b Kind of silly I guess, took me long enough =b In anycase, I've been making little minor adjustments to the layout, adding links and just touching stuff up for the past little bit since the site has been offline and I made the first "major" changes which bumped up the version type from 1.0 to 2.0b (80% table width, change in font size). After the initial formatting change, I changed the wording of some parts of the site, but also added some links to other things (computers link, link to my homepage in development, link to the CS site for a friend and some playing around with the Code of the Geeks portion of the site). We'll call that v2.01b.

Now, with the addition of the about me link (added yesturday actually), as well as the news link (yes, this one), the version history link, a page with all of my bookmarks, not to mention the tweaking of the computers page, the about me page and the intro to the site, I bring you the newest version of the site, v2.02b! The addition of a few links and some text twiddling warrants a version number change, I think ^^ Introducing v2.02b! Finally I implimented a version number to the site, I've been wanting to do this for a while. Well, that does it for today =)
