Katakana Voiced Sounds
Katakana's rules of Voiced Sounds are the same as Hiragana in that with the addition of a " on the upper right corner
of certain katakana characters or a
small circle that is only in the "H" series.
The Voice Sound Change
- Ka = Ga", or Ki = Gi" and so on.
- Sa = Za", or Su = Zu" and the only exception to this series is Shi = Ji".
- Ta = Da", or To = Do" and so on.
- Ha = Ba", or Hi = Bi" and so on.
- Ha = Pa(with a small circle above it as shown in the picture below), or Hi = Pi(with small circle), and so forth.
