Katakana Contracted Sounds

Katakana Contracted Sounds are the same as Hiragana's Contracted Sounds in that combining two characters for a one syllable sound. An example is that ki-yo is a 2 syllable word when Kyo is only 1 syllable. The characters used are the same but the "Yo" to make Kyo is small, about 1/2 the normal size. The contracted Sound is only used in the "i" row of all Katakana series, (ex: Ki, Hi, Mi, Gi, Pi, and so forth) to start off with, and remove the "i" in the to put in either the "Ya", "Yu", or "Yo" in a smaller form then usual, (ex:Kya, Hya, Myu, Gyu, Pyo, and so forth).
