The World Pipe Band Championship

This was our biggest event, and happened on our seventh day, a Saturday. The World Pipe Band Championships are held annually on the Glasgow Green. The best of the best come to compete, and the prizes are big. The Prince George Pipe Band place 5th in the Grade III, a major accomplishment!

The Prince George Pipe Band, Grade III, competing in the Worlds. They placed fifth in a field with 25 other bands.

The mass band at the Worlds. Around 250 bands with 8000 members. A surreal experience, to play en masse with so many.
