Information about the Zerg race 

The Zerg are a hive mind like race created by the Xel'naga, the same beings that created the Protoss. They are called The Swarm by those who opposed them. Originally controlled by a singular Overmind, the Zerg have since lost its leader and are now led by the Zerg/Human hybrid, Kerrigan. The Zerg seek to devour all life and create new strains of Zerg by assimilating other species into their own.
