Pedagogy in the Lab
As part of my course development and scholarly activities I have been collaborating with faculty from the University of British Columbia (UBC), Western Washington University (WWU), and Thompson Rivers University (TRU) in the British Columbia Integrated Laboratory Network (BC-ILN). The aim of BC-ILN is to build a network of institutions that will share in the use of equipment to deliver science education to their respective students. The main idea is to connect scientific equipment to the web and through the use of video conferencing technology and appropriate software, equipment can then be remotely operated
