Basketball is the only Varsity Teams that UNBC currently competes with.  Both men and women take the court in the British Columbia College Athletics Association.  The 2003-2004 season marks the seventh year for the school, and there are high hopes for both of the teams after successful seasons last year.  The men are coached by Zane Robison, while the women are coached by Loralyn Murdoch. Both are young and dedicated to their teams' success.  Being located in Prince George, the team has little surrounding collegiate competition, as Kelowna is the closest collegiate team.  The team receives tremendous support from the town for home games, and are privileged enough to fly with Westjet for their away games.  On top of enjoying watching their games, I am currently dating one of the Lady Timberwolves, Ashley Neufeld.
