Luvic Gleysols 

Soils in this great group have dull colors or prominent mottling and shows horiozn of clay accumulation. They are similar to Luvisolic soils except for the mottlings. They are found in poorly drained sites in association with Luvisolic soils and Black and Dark Gray Chernozemic soils. 

The parent materials are mostly moderately calcareous and loamy to clayey in texture. 

Selected properties:

They have 

1. Btg horizon. 

2. Ahe or Aeg horizon. 

Common horizon sequence: LFH or O, Ah, Aeg, Bgf or Btg, Cg
