Helpful is the nausea that mothers
saturnine creations.
I will treat it as my mother & lay
sunlit feeding from its breasts.
But gone is every mother in the wan light
that mouthed these thoughts & I will not
be moved by anything of standard's clause,
nor will these clauses define anything outside
of themselves
