·          Involved in conversion of an MTS application to COM+ based application. Required communicating with Microsoft Support to resolve product specific issues.

·          Provide technical and analytical support to HR and Loss Prevention Management business units within the company.

·          Provide support to application (AIRTAS Safety application) users (2100+).

·          Provide 24/7 on call support.

·          Perform weekly maintenance (database maintenance, programming changes and data cleanup).

·          Participate in major project work as required (examples Admin Tool for AIRTAS administrative users, details in portfolio provided).

·          Perform requirement analysis on requests by business units. Include change impacts, time and cost estimates (where required). Implement changes upon approval.

·          Maintain and customize accreditation system for QA purposes running on Windows 2000 Server platform with an Oracle 8i backend and Java GUI.

·          Build new external applications around the system primarily using Visual Basic 6.0 and ASP. Support and maintain existing external applications.

·          Documented external applications in terms of usage as well as technical specifications. Additionally drew up Disaster Recovery plans for each external application.

·          Setup and administer version control system (CVS).

·          Attend weekly round-table meetings to discuss any issues and express opinions and solutions.
