Mount Carlyle is a large, double-peaked mountain, with peak one at 8688 feet and its twin peak at 8687 feet.

To access Carlyle you must drive west of Kaslo to South Fork and then it is an hour or so trip up an old mining road to the Flint Mine site. From here, the hike begins, passing three beautiful alpine lakes and then breaking through the alpine onto a rocky ridge, which then leads to the peak with a total climbing time of four hours from the Flint cabin.
