Bliss
Filtered sunshine
splayed across your body,
sweat beads up and drips
off your back.
Laid out across the bed
I feel alive
only by looking at you, and
your energy excites me
inside and out.
Triangles of light
shine off your dark hair
and my hands caress
your body,
need your body,
love your body.
As we lay on your bed in
the summertime sunlight,
I realise
it is not the sunshine
that’s making us sweat.
