Have you ever had a dream in which you know you're dreaming? There is no
end to any deserted street or dark hall. You can't find any boundaries
that might pull you back into reality. As you start to panic, the thought
runs through your head, "Maybe there is no way out," and you may be stuck
in this nightmare forever. What could bring you through this tunnel
between dream and reality?

This man represents fear. He is breaking the boundary, slowly pushing
himself through the tunnel into reality. He is almost awake because there
is only a small layer left to break through. The black represents the
nightmare.
