Though John's natural life began in 1979,
his poetic life began in 2003 when he chose to take a
creative writing class with Robert Budde. Though he had
written poetry ever since childhood, Budde was able to
show John a side of poetry that he had never seen before.
Past the "dead poets" and into the living Canadian
poets that he was entirely missing.
John recently graduated from UNBC with a
degree in Computer Science and now all he can think about
is how to get into the masters program as an english major.
