I was born in Tainan, Taiwan, in 1988. And at the age
of one, my family and I immigrated here to Prince George,
British Columbia, where we still reside today.
I grew up exposed to both Eastern and Western cultures;
thus I am a hybrid of both, creating what we Asians call
a Banana (an Asian exterior with a Western mindset). My
parents run a small tourism business, and my brother,
John, is a university student at UBC. Once he leaves,
my two Labradors will keep me company at home.
I began school at College Heights Elementary; I then
moved on to Duchess Park Secondary School. Throughout
the years, I have always excelled at academics and achieved
high marks. I have a huge interest in music that truly
shows, for I play the violin, piano, and also the trombone
in the school band.
The future for me is still undecided. I have not yet
chosen a field in which I will strive, but with so much
time still, I am sure to know in the coming years.
