Bellamy took this question as a personal affront. "Well actually," he
raised his voice, "I pissed in woods over there, where the nightingales
sang."
Vera ignored Bellamy's
irritation. "It would be imprudent to leave Bob alone," she said.
"I suggest we go back to the railway yard and have a conference. Bob can
sleep there to-night," Morozin said and turned to Bellamy. "Any problems,
my friend?"
"Well, yeh, I do have
a problem with this suggestion. I don't much like this cloak and dagger
stuff. I mean, no one's ever wanted to kill me before, and quite frankly,
I can't see why some Russians would become interested. Just take me back
to the hotel, please."
"No problem, my friend,"
