Born of Finnish descent in Prince George, British Columbia, Eric Karjaluoto showed promise in the visual arts from an early age. Eric studied painting at the Emily Carr Institute in Vancouver for four years. After earning his diploma in 1995, eric returned to his hometown. Over the past four years in Prince George, he has continued to refine his work.
Eric Karjaluoto's paintings have been exhibited primarily in Prince George and Vancouver; however, recent exhibits have travelled as far as the United States. Eric's most recent exhibit Cannibals, opened September 10th 1999 at Artspace. He is represented in Vancouver by Artworks.
