Phil Morrison, the youngest of eight boys, was born in Prince George in 1960. Since 1980 he has been employed at the Prince George Citizen newspaper as a pressman. He began his sculptural development throughout the 80's with his first exhibit at the Other Art Cafe in 1990. Since then he has exhibited his work in Prince George, Nelson, and Vancouver. Phil currently spends his time in the studio, at the paper, Vancouver, and parenting with his partner Silvia. He says " I've walked along the sidewalk carrying Christ's skin in a plastic bag, I've wire brushed my concrete ass, and right now I'm screwing together 40 washers and dryers, after awhile you don't expect people to understand".
