There are many characters in the Harry Potter Books and Movies. Here are brief biographies for some of the main characters.

Ron Weasley:

Ron is Harry's best friend. He comes from a poor family and has 5 brothers and 1 sister. Ron has red hair and is in Gryffindor. Ron's favorite Quidditch team is the Chudley Cannons.

Hermione Granger:

Hermione is also best friends with Harry and Ron. Her parents were both Muggles (Non magic people) and she is one of the best Witches in her year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

Albus Dumbledore:

Dumbledore is the Headmaster of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. He has long white hair, and a long white beard. He has a phoenix named Fawkes, who gave the feathers for both Harry and Voldemort's wands.

Lord Voldemort:

Voldemort is Harry's arch enemy. He killed Harry's parents when Harry was young and tried to kill Harry. He was unable to kill Harry, However, and the attempt took his powers and left him to go into hiding.

Draco Malfoy:

Draco is Harry's enemy at Hogwarts. Draco belongs to the Slytherin house, and has a strong hatred towards Harry. Draco has white blonde hair and was once turned into a Ferret by Mad Eye Moody.
