In between the rodeo events, there are plenty of activities for the whole family to enjoy. As it's annual tradition, Westcoast Amusements brings their fun-filled carnival to town for the weekend. Between the rides and games, there is something for everyone in your family.

Every year that stampede comes around, the local bussinesses like to jazz up Saturday morning with a parade. The parade starts at 10:00am sharp, and within an hour and a half, you will see some of the most decorative floats around! Each year there are over 140 enteries in the parade. The whole town comes out to see the show horses, stampede royalty, marching bands, and local organizations. The firemen will be out spraying the crowd, so watch out! Don't forget your lawn chairs and sunscreen!

One of the biggest celebrations during Stampede time is Canada Day. During the afternoon, bring your children out to Botanio Park for some fun, at no cost! There is face painting, balloons, hot dogs and pop, live entertainment, and lots of arts and crafts. This is one event you won't want to miss!
