Stan Jonathan Player Profile
Stan "Bulldog" Jonathan, born May 9, 1955 in Brantford, Ontario,
was one of the toughest players to ever play in the NHL, at 5' 7" he
played like a giant. Jonathan, played in the NHL between 1973-1983
for Boston and Pittsburgh. For a generation of players and fans he
defined the role of The Chief as an enforcer. His off ice contribution
was greater, than an image, as Jonanthan fought for the recognition
of treaty rights for native players.
