How to play Texas Hold-em

 

Before each round begins the two people to left of the dealer button will be Big Blind and Little Blind.

These are forced and must be paid to induce betting

Each player is dealt a two face down cards (the hole cards)

Then the first Round of betting occurs, beginning with the person to the left of the Big Blind.

The Dealer then deals out three community cards known as the “the Flop”

Another round of betting occurs starting with the person who is to left of the dealer.

The dealer then deals out another community card called “the turn or fourth street”

Then another round of betting occurs starting with the person to the left of the dealer

Finally the dealer will deal the final community card known as “the river or fifth street”

Another round of betting starting with the person to the left of the dealer

The players show their cards and best 5 card hand wins

One thing to remember if you are playing No-limit Texas Hold-em any player can go all-in during any betting round.

Also anyone is allowed to fold (stop playing that hand at any point)
