2004 Season
It's going to be a 14 person crew. 9 planters in a new Expedition, and 5 with me in the crew cab. First contract will near Quesnel in a bush camp. Good cook (something about bush cooks... they make the best food!) and some pretty fast land. Then isolation logging camp, 3 hours North West of Fort St. James, for the rest of the spring. Summer will be bush camps and closer to PG, about 2 hours to town. Land will be fast west of PG, slower east of town. Price reflects the land. I'm always up for going on end of the season clean up missions, so we'll likely finish off the season by going to a different camp to help finish off the contract. Should be good. The office is saying that the summer season is looking a little short, but something always comes up. I'm expecting 60 days of planting.Most of the land is on the faster side, but good technical skills are needed. I'm looking for experienced planters who will work hard every day and are self motivated.
