This year’s recipient has maintained a high GPA while being heavily involved in the UNBC Outdoors Club. He has served as treasurer of the club for at least 2 years, has written several funding proposals and takes care of all the banking and accounting for the club. In addition, he has been active in the Back Country Recreation society and has worked on funding proposals and letters on behalf of the society. He has taken a personal interest in getting people outdoors, and has assisted them with trip planning and equipment.
