Biography:

Within the womb, she refused to share herself with her mother, leading Murrel to think she had no elven spark within her. This disturbed Murrel and so she was all but abandoned within the Hunt once her infancy was over. As a nameless she-cub with no one to provide for her, she was just one of many children, and was quickly pushed to the bottom of the pecking order, forced to survive on whatever scraps she could salvage. As one in such a position, Rahnee never felt she belonged in either tribe, and like her father before her, was forced to find her own way to balance the elf and wolf within her. Unknown to her, it was for this reason that she caught her father’s eye and for what he saw she had in common with Timmain that he chose her to be his successor and bring the Hunt and the pure elves together as one. Her road wasn’t easy, but she had the support of a few key individuals, including her lifemate, Zarhan, and Timmorn’s first born, her older sister Laststar. She defined the first rules among the tribe, and was the first to learn how to bond with and ride a wolf. She is the one that named the united tribe “the Wolfriders” and was the one to encourage the pure elves to hunt and forage once more. She faced two challenges for her chieftainship, one from her older half-brother the day that she became chieftess and one when she refused her son the name “Wolfrider”. Though she lost both challenges, the elves chose to continue following her while the challengers left the tribe with those that would follow.

When her second son was grown, there was a bad winter that forced the hunters out in poor conditions. One time she rode out on her own to try and find food and never returned. The tribe declared her dead and Prey-Pacer took over as the new chief, but Zarhan swore that she still lived. Before leaving to find her, Zarhan told the others what her elven name was and within the minds of the pure elves that was to be her name from then on, but within the minds of the wolf-blooded, she would always be “the She-Wolf” and went down in history as both. In truth, on that day she went missing, she had fallen and injured herself, becoming crippled. Trickster’s children found her and brought her home with them into their cave and nursed her back to health. It took several years, but Zarhan eventually did locate her again, resulting in one last Recognition between the two. Not long after Flower was grown, Rahnee died of depression, unable to take the fact that she would never walk again any longer.
