Scube, stand growth model for spruce in the SBS

INSTALLATION AND USE

Requirements: Microsoft Excel 2000 or newer, or OpenOffice or LibreOffice
versions 3.3 or higher. 

Copy Scube.xls and ScubeHelp.pdf somewhere. Then open Scube.xls in Excel
or OpenOffice/LibreOffice.  E.g., double-click on it.  If asked, allow
enabling macros.

Depending on the spreadsheet software version, first you might have to
lower macro security to Medium in order to run macros; probably:  'Tools' >
'Options', Security' tab, 'Macros' button.  One can also add the directory to
the Trusted Sources list to avoid being prompted each time.

Once the spreadsheet opens, click on the HELP link for instructions.  This
assumes that a PDF reader (e.g. Adobe Reader) is installed and set to handle
PDF files.  The ScubeHelp.pdf file can also be opened and/or printed
independently.

British Columbia.  The data used was provided by the Forest Sciences Program
Research Branch, and Forest Analysis and Inventory Branch of the British Columbia
Ministry of Forests and Range.

CHANGES

Version 2.3: Modified for compatibility with LibreOffice / OpenOffice.  No
  functional differences.

From 2.1 to 2.2, no output differences, mainly changes to facilitate user extensions:
- All user-accessible functions moved into the 'Scube' category (works in Excel 2010,
  otherwise they appear under 'User Defined').
- Added function descriptions for the function wizard.
- 'StartOfTable' named reference moved one cell up, for Grow to survive deletion
  of all rows below the headings. Necessary adjustments made in the Interface module.
