M.Sc. Assistantship in Forest Growth & Yield

The FRBC / West Fraser Endowed Chair in Forest Growth and Yield at the University of British Columbia has available a graduate research assistantship at the M.Sc. level. The successful applicant will collaborate in the Chair's research program, which includes quantitative stand dynamic studies and growth modelling for B.C. forest types, as well as more general methodological issues.

Candidates should have a B.Sc. or equivalent degree, strong quantitative and computer skills, and a background or interest in forest management. The award is conditional upon the student being admitted to the Natural Resources and Environmental Studies (NRES) M.Sc. Program.
