Graduate Student Orientation

The Office of Graduate Studies and the Graduate Student Society have a new graduate student orientation in September and again in January. The next orientation will be in September 2008. If you would like to attend please contact Bethany Haffner at (250)960-5779 or via email at haffner@unbc.ca.

The orientation will include:

• Introductions to key personnel in UNBC's Graduate Studies Office.
• The Graduate Student Binder with important "Must Know" information.
• workshops on supervisor/supervisory committee expectations and thesis and thesis proposal writing.
• Social time with fellow newly admitted students and representatives from the Graduate Student Society.

The contents of the binder will be mailed to all students who can not attend the orientation.
