Ae (0 to 10 cm) Light brownish gray (7.5YR 7/2 m) sand; single grain; loose; abundant, fine random roots; clear, wavy boundary; 8 to 12 cm thick 

Bf (10 to 20 cm) Bright brown (7.5YR 5/8 m) sand; weak granular to single grain; very friable; plentiful, fine, random roots; gradual wavy boundary; 6 to 12 cm thick 

Btj (20 to 32 cm) Yellowish brown (10YR 5/8 m) sand; single grain; very friable; plentiful, fine vertical roots; gradual, wavy boundary; 15 to 20 cm thick 

BC (32 to 70 cm) Bright yellowish brown (10YR 6/8 m) sand; single grain; friable; few, very fine vertical roots; gradual, wavy boundary; 36 to 40 cm thick 

C1 (70 to 110 cm) Dull yellowish brown (10YR 5/4 m) sand; single grain; loose; very few, very fine vertical roots; gradual, smooth boundary; 37 to 43 cm thick
