Ahe (0 to 28 cm) Grayish yellow brown (10YR 4/2 d); loam loam; moderate, fine granular; soft; abundant, very fine and medium random roots; clear smooth boundary; 27 to 29 cm thick 

Bt1 (28 to 91 cm) Dull yelowish brown (10YR 5/3 d); clay; moderate, fine prismatic breaking into strong fine blocky; very hard; plentiful, fine and very fine vertical inped and exped roots; gradual, wavy boundary; 58 to 66 cm thick 

Bt2 (91 to 112 cm) Dull yellowish brown (10YR 5/4 d); clay; weak, coarse prismatic breaking into weak moderate subangular blocky; very hard; plentiful fine and medium and few coarse random inped and exped roots; gradual wavy boundary; 18 to 25 cm thick 

C (112+ cm) Dull yellowish brown (10YR 5/4 d); clay loam; amorphous; very hard; few very fine and fine oblique roots
