AQUIRED: Florida's 2nd choice, 40th overall, in 1999 Entry Draft. Traded to Vancouver for a third round pick in 2002 and a compensatory pick in 2001.

LAST SEASON: Played back-up goalie during last years series with Calgary, when Johan Hedberg was injured in Game 1.  Later replaced head goaltender in the series, Dan Cloutier, in Game 3.  Successfully brought the team all the way to Game 7, however, the team lost on a impossible shot in the 3rd Overtime period, resulting in the end of the season for the Canucks.  To date this has been Auld's most successful run with the Canucks.
