Java Versions
From time to time Oracle (previously Sun) updates
various Java features. The most recent version
of Java as of 2018-05-21 is version 10,
with Java 8 still being commonly deployed.
As of sometime before 2018-05-21, Oracle has gone to a “fast
release” policy, with
Java 8
as the last stable release,
and a new release planned for Fall 2018.
Please don't rely on this web-site being up-to-date.
