Prerequisites: Math 101, Math 220 (Recommeneded: CPSC 141, CPSC 242, Math 224)

Textbook: Introductory Combinatorics by Kenneth P. Bogart (Third edition). The book is not available at the bookstore, check for used or new copies at Amazon.ca; other sellers will show up on search for the author's name and/or title.

Course Materials: Course Notes will be placed in the copy store. Some additional materials and homework assignments will be distributed in class. No late assignments will be accepted. Solutions will be published immediately after the due date.

Course Content: Enumeration, Principle of inclusion and exclusion, Generating functions, Ramsey theory, Combinatorial structures. The course is offered in conjunction with Math 450; the graduate students will read some additional material (on Wilson's Fundamental Construction) and write a report.
