Feeling down, lonely,
stressed out, unsure? Need someone to talk to?
Peer Counsellors are waiting for you. The Peer Support
Network is a group of caring, committed, and trained students who offer
personal support and empowerment on campus to any student who needs
assistance.
The Peer Support Network is operated out of the First
Nations Centre, and like all First Nations Centre services promotes an open
door policy- everyone is welcome. Peer Counsellors in the program come
from diverse cultures and backgrounds and bring a wealth of experience to their
volunteer work.
Peer Counsellors are students, like yourself, who will work
hard to understand your situation. We offer confidential services where dignity and
anonymity is respected.
Drop by today:
7-103 (just past the Health office and First Nations Centre)
960-5619
peercounsellor@unbc.ca
Walk in’s welcome, check out the calendar to see when
a Peer Counsellor is in the office.
