A Busy Day Today
Well, yesterday, I did my weekly radio show. Today I wrote two articles, worked on some music, posted the radio show playlist for this week and… what else was there…? Oh yeah! Eric Klein from KPFA Radio in California interviewed me and my buddy Jared on Napsters 10th Anniversary.
So, I feel great about the whole 15 minutes of fame thing. I also found a massive resource of Canadian DnB music as well (something that was starting to run dry lately unless I wanted to replay some older stuff and I really wanted to promote more artists, not the same artists even though those artists were awsome for the most part) Hopefully, I can drop some great Canuck DnB music next week. If not, I can fall back on the Canadian electronica artists that pass along albums to the station as they sometimess are equally in desparate need to be promoted as well (f**k the RIAA)
I mentioned earlier that I got some musical work done as well. I tried getting a good chorus going on my DnB track, but I was feeling like doing something different. So, I fell back on my House track I was working on and almost instantly came up with a really cool melody for the chorus of that track. There’s less going on in the House track, but the two tracks are roughly just as far off from completion. Who knows? Maybe I’ll get two tracks done by the end of the month. I’m feeling both tracks, just at different times. Always a good sign.
