IceCube Article Becomes Popular

I’m just happy that people are able to hear about the news of the whole push polling fiasco over Greenlight. When I wrote the article, I felt great because I had that feeling of charity (it was also unique because it’s damn near impossible to find these kinds of stories saddly :( ) In any event, it seems that a lot of people are now reading about the story and I’m happy I was able to help make it so popular.

So here’s the story link. Clicky

Here’s the Slashdot posting: w00t!

…and here’s a Reddit link for good measure: Yay!

I looked at the original blog posting since and a couple people have already said that they hear about this through the Slashdot posting and expressing support for the communities that are going through this.

On a side note, I’ve got a shiney new e-mail addy for tips on stories like this that you may have heard of that people might want to know more about at drew@zeropaid.com. If there’s something you think deserves attention, I’m willing to lend an ear and could help make some news popular. Even if it doesn’t make the front pages of social networking sites, there’s plenty of eyeballs on ZeroPaid given that it’s the most popular general file-sharing and technology news site.

In any event, I’m particularly proud of this development and hope I can do more things like this in the future. :)

There’s no way that Zeropaid is bigger than Torrentfreak, not when I last checked
