Species: Anemone occidentalis (Watson)

Depiction: Found in mountain meadows, sloped alpine scree-slopes above 2000m elevation; Flowering in late june and july. Another early flowering plant that is commonly found along side this species is Mountain Marsh-Marigold (Caltha leptosepala).
