Killer Whales 'vocalize' to communicate between group members. The vocalization consists of a series of clicks and pitches that vibrate for long distances. Orcas find this kind of communication especailly useful when hunting their prey. Also, vibrations that bounce off obstacles are sent back to the whale, preventing harmful collisons.
